A lot of us are about to be reminded what Cicada’s sound like and (shiver) look like. Last time a brood hatched a new kind of cocktail was born, even the Ritz Carlton had its own version that was topped with a chocolate bug! To get you ready for this year’s invasion, we found a great recipe for you to sip on while you listen to the cicada soundtrack.
This one from Diffords Guide gets our vote because, well, bourbon. All you need is bourbon, ameretto, cream and sugar syrup. Similar to a Grasshopper, but a more appropriate color. We’ll serve ours with plastic bugs though.
